Sawsan chaired the committee and was the driving force behind this large scale, cross-disciplinary collaborative project which involved almost every college and school at the University of Miami, Florida, as well as their library system. Her legacy at UM includes an annual symposium on data visualisation and a culture change in how data science education was delivered.
